What do I need to do now that my child has been registered?
We are so excited that your child will be joining us for Summer Camp this year! Below are some clear instructions on what to do now, as well as various forms that you need to complete. Please read this very carefully and do everything as instructed!
If you successfully completed the online registration and paid the application fee, your child has been accepted into the session you have selected. No acceptance emails will be sent. However, an automatically generated statement of account activity will be sent via email at the time of registration. You will have two weeks grace from the date of application to cancel your child’s spot and still receive a refund of your application fee. After this time period, the fee becomes non-refundable.
Next Steps [please follow carefully]
Final Payment You will find the amount that you owe in the account statement sent to you shortly after you have registered your camper online. Anyone failing to meet the April 26th deadline will incur a $20 late payment fee. Final payment can either be made by attaching a check for your full remaining balance for Summer Camp to your Health Form, Parts A & B (the $3 credit card processing fee will be waived), or you can go online to pay your final balance by credit card.
Credit Card Payments
To pay your final balance by credit card, please log back into the registration site and click the "Submit a Payment" button to the right of the completed application that you have submitted (see image below).
Required Medical Forms
Health forms can be downloaded below. All accepted campers are required to complete Health Forms A & B. The deadline is April 26 for Parts A & B. Anyone failing to meet the April 26 deadline will incur a $20 late health form fee. If your child is accepted into a camp session within two weeks of the April 26 deadline, the health forms will be due two weeks from the date of acceptance. If you have an extenuating circumstance that may prevent you from mailing these forms in by the deadline, we may be able to grant you an extension if it is requested prior to the deadline. In addition, please mail in a copy of Health Form Part C if your child is on medication. You will then bring the original Health Form Part C to registration along with your child's medication to give to the nurse. Please note that the health forms must be mailed. We do not accept forms by fax or email.
Cabinmate Requests
You will find a section at the bottom of Health Form Part A where you may list two cabinmate requests for your child. If more than two names are listed on the request portion of the form, we will automatically enter the first two names listed as your camper's request. Please note that requests must be mutual and forms must be received by the April 26 deadline in order for us to process your request. Although there is no guarantee, we will do our best to place each camper with at least one friend of their choosing.
Letter to My Child's Cabin Leaders (optional)
Please fill this out to give your child's counselor and staff member additional information about your child. Please mail it in with your Health Form Parts A & B by April 26.
Made a mistake?
If you have made a mistake on your application, need to request to switch sessions, need to cancel, etc. please email us at . All requests for any type of change must be made in writing.
Important forms to print and send in. Please note deadlines!
Please print out this form and have it fully completed/signed and returned to us by April 26. St. Christopher requires campers to receive a medical examination by a licensed physician prior to attending summer camp. Please make sure you schedule an appointment with your doctor ASAP, or use somewhere like Doctor’s Care or Medcare Express which can usually process these in a day or two. You may also use a recent signed physical (April 1, 2012 or later) for the Physician’s Authorization portion of Health Form Part B. Attach the copy of the physician’s report & release, complete and sign the 2013 health form, and mail it to: Summer Camp Health Form Parts A & B, 2810 Seabrook Island Rd., Johns Island, SC 29455. Anyone failing to meet the April 26 deadline will incur a late medical form fee. NOTE: We do not accept forms by fax or email. Please mail them to the address above. Thank you!

Scholarships are available and our goal is that no one ever misses summer camp for financial reasons. Limited scholarship help is available from the James L. White Scholarship Fund. Generally we can provide up to 1/3 of the cost for those with a verifiable demonstrated need. This assistance also asks the home church to provide 1/3 of the cost, and the camper’s family to provide the remaining 1/3 of the cost. If you are applying for a scholarship please make sure that the Scholarship Form is also returned fully completed with a check from your church by April 26.
