Do you want to be a part of all of the excitement next summer at St. Christopher Camp and Conference Center? Do you love Jesus? Are you ready to serve? Well, we need your help!

There are three types of positions we are looking for: staff, interns and counselors. In all of these you will have many opportunities to make a huge difference in the lives of the campers and grow in your own walk with the Lord.

Counselors generally come for between one and three weeks on a volunteer basis (i.e. there is no pay!). You will stay in the cabins with a group of kids and be an assistant to the staff member in your cabin. You play a key role as one of the spiritual leaders of the campers.

Internships are offered on a limited basis to people who will have graduated High School in the spring of 2013 or before. It is an in-between step from being a counselor to being a staff member. It involves less up-front ministry than a typical staff member, but a lot more responsibility than a counselor. Click here for more information.

Staff members are mostly of college age and are hired for the entire summer to oversee the whole camp program. They live in cabins for two-thirds of the summer and run all of the activities and some of the teaching program.

Age Requirements: Counselors need to be at least 16 years old on or before May 1, 2013. Camp staff members need to be at least 19 years old on or before May 1, 2013, or have graduated High School in 2012 or earlier.

Training Requirements: Counselors need to be able to attend a Counselor Training Overnight in the Spring (March 1-2 or April 26-27). Staff need to be able to report to staff training on Sunday afternoon, May 19, already having their Lifeguard certification completed.
