Lauren Harris
Lauren first started at St. Christopher in 2023 as a Barrier Island Naturalist. Falling in love with the mission and community of this place, she returned for a second season and was able to experience different sides of camp! After learning the ropes in her interim season, Lauren is happy to now serve full-time as the Director of the Conference Center. With a background in youth/camp ministry, Lauren has a heart for seeing all those who enter our gates have a fresh understanding of God's love for them. Lauren graduated from Liberty University with a degree split between Natural Sciences and NextGen Ministry. She was so excited to find a place that fit this combination - leading students to the mud pit one day, helping coordinate group retreats the next, and seeking Jesus always! Professionally, Lauren is interested in discipleship development, hospitality, and coastal ecology. On the weekend, you can find Lauren and her husband, Tyler, enjoying a good cup of coffee, hunting for shells, or going on all types of outdoor adventures!
Where do you see God at St. Christopher?
I see God through the shells, plants, and birds at St. Christopher! There is so much intricate detail in their design from the loving hand of a Creator. How much more does the Father care for us!
What is your favorite place on campus?
The Rec Hall! There is so much history in the building and the view of the sunset is incredible. There is no better place for a dance party!

Ephesians 3:16-21 "I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.
