Lori Held

Lori Held was called to be the Director of Student Ministries in March 2023. 

She is married to her husband, Captain Dave. They have one daughter, Shea, who is studying to be an Esthetician, and one son, Dustin, who is the Director of Respiratory Therapy at Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan Missouri. Captain Dave and Lori operate a boat charter when not working at St. Christopher. They love the ocean and in their off-time they enjoy cruising on the boat or jet skis, dolphin watching, exploring estuaries, and sunset watching. 

Where do you see God at St. Christopher? 

As I drive through the gates of St. Christopher, I see God everywhere! 

What is your favorite place on campus? 

The beach – for me, it is a place of tranquility. I am at total peace there, for God and his beauty are all around me! 

What is your favorite Bible verse? 

Isaiah 41:10. “So do not fear, for I am with you: do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
