In our October newsletter, we shared the exciting news that the Episcopal Diocese of South Carolina has moved into the stretch goal of their capital campaign. The funds raised toward this stretch goal will be used to seed a capital campaign for St. Christopher Camp and Conference Center.
I am pleased to share that that diocese is making great progress towards its stretch goal! All of us at St. Christopher are excited to move forward into a season of intentional discernment about our future, especially in light of a possible capital campaign. We would like to invite you, our friends and supporters, into this discernment with us. The ministry of St. Christopher has touched so many people’s lives over the decades, and we want you to be part of these next steps.
All are welcome and encouraged to attend one of our small group gatherings to share your experiences and love for St. Christopher, and to discern together where God is calling us to grow. Your voice will be important to this process. Some of our hopes are likely known to you already - creating a new dining hall space, after our former building burned in 2021, is a dream that so many of us share. During these gatherings, we will share more about that particular hope, and all of our goals for continuing to ensure the long-term stability and success of St. Christopher. During that time we want to hear your feedback and answer any questions you might have about potential capital campaign projects.
We have options for both in-person gatherings and zoom gatherings. Some of the gatherings are for particular affinity groups, and others are for a general audience. Each gathering has a different registration page.
